Edelman has produced new research on the generation born between 1980 and 1995 – Generation Y, the Millenials or the 8095ers. There are 1.7 billion of them in the world today with very different attitudes and consumer habits from their predecessors. Apart from anything else, they include the first, principally digital generation and as a consequence tend to be “always connected” with lives defined to a significant degree by brands.
